David holds Bachelors and Masters of Engineering Degrees in Civil Engineering from The Cooper Union in New York. David has been a member of NSPE since 1998, knowing early on in his professional career that he wanted to give back to the profession. After several years, he was elected President of the Chapter and served in that capacity for three years. In New York, David assisted in administering the local and State MATHCOUNTS competition for many years. David became active on the State level of the New York State Society of Professional Engineers, serving as the Chair of the Professional Engineers in Government (PEG) Special Interest Group, and then served as the PEG Chair on the National level. He served two years on the NSPE National Board of Directors (representing the Interest Groups), and has served in the House of Delegates, representing both New York and Arizona.
David currently serves on the Board of Governors for the Order of the Engineer, and is currently the Secretary for that Organization. For the past 10 years, David has been facilitating the Order of the Engineer Ceremonies at the Annual NSPE PECON meetings.
David is excited and proud to have the privilege to serve as the Arizona State Society President, and he will continue to work together with our talented Board members to continue to gain traction in the Valley and throughout the State to bring value to our members and further establish our presence.
